Valentines Day Candy boxes

I have been working on Valentines Day candy boxes. Here are a few that I created this weekend. I had so much fun with them. I used the cricut cartridge Love Struck to cut the boxes in red cardstock. I cut the dies in pink cardstock using the same cartridge. Then I embelished the boxes with embelishments from the Valentines day section at Hobby Lobby. When finished I filled them with candy treats.

Contest Box

I created this box for a contest that we are having at work for Valentines Day. Each person was given enough beer coasters to create a box. It was their responsibility to decorate their box anyway they chose. I decorated my box with scrapbook paper, ribbon, embelishments from Hobby Lobby in the Valentines section and my bind-it-all. Here are a few pictures of my box.

My New Blog

I am new to blogging so bare with me until I learn. I have been looking at lots of blogs over the past few weeks. During that time I realized that I have been missing out on so much fun. There are so many interesting blogs on crafting that I had no idea were there. So blogging, here I come!

I recently upgraded my cricut from the original to the expression so I'm learning lots of tricks of the trade with it. I also recently purchased a Bind-It-All and a Cuttlebug. My goals are to participate in some of the blogging challenges and post my crafting ideas. I'm really looking forward to this adventure. More later...
