This weekend I worked on making photo albums. My daughter-in-law and I are making 300 to take to a craft show.
Outside of the albums
The inside is long so I took two pictures.
Another of the inside
There was so much paper to be folded and cut that I had to solicit some help with the folding from my youngest son Andy. I boxed up some of the card stock, did a quick tutorial on how to fold the paper and sent it to school with him last week. He has 3 really sweet friends and all three chipped in and helped him fold. Thank you Lisa, Katie and Kinsley!
As a thank-you to the 3 girls, I made them a thank-you basket. The basket was filled with a photo album, a composition notebook and a clipboard.
I bought the composition notebooks at Wal-Mart and covered them with coordinating card stock. I added a flower embellishment to the front.
I bought the clipboards at The Dollar Tree and covered them with coordinating card stock.
Here is a picture of the baskets after I completed them. I hope the girls enjoy them.
Thanks for stopping by.

OOH LA LA Box
I attended a premier jewelry show this past Friday night. I won a door prize and the consultant handed me a box. I was soooo excited about winning the box, but to my dismay I did not actually win the box, I won one of the prizes that was in the box. Let me just say that I was VERY disappointed because I wanted the BOX. So Saturday morning I was cruzin through Wal-Mart and on one of their end caps they had these white boxes. Immediately I thought I have some paper almost like the BOX I wanted last night. So I bought two of the white boxes. I only photographed one for this part of the presentation.
I then got to work. I used "The Paper Studio" paper to cover the boxes. I then added embellishments to the front of each box to add a little bling.
Then came the fun part adding my cricut creation to the inside of the box. I used The Forever Young cricut cartridge and selected model #7. I used plain black paper for the model and made her clothes using "My Minds Eye" paper from the "Summer Song" collection. All I can say about this is: OOH LA LA

Gypsy
I bought the Gypsy today, I'm so excited. Michael's has a fantastic deal on them through March 6. They are $199 and Michael's is giving away the car charger with the purchase. And of course I had to buy the pink sleeve to put it in for protection. I can't wait to get it ready to start designing. More later!

Sympathy Card
A friend of my family passed away a few days ago. I made this card to send to the family. I used "French Flea Market" patterned paper by "My Mind's Eye" and matching card stock. I cut the card, envelope, frame and liner with my cricut using the Wild Card cartridge. The Cross on the front was cut using the Easter cartridge.
I embossed the flap of the envelope with my cuttlebug.
I added purple ribbon around the cross. I used the same ribbon for the bow to close the card with. I then added some embellishments to give the card a more finished look.
Please leave a comment and let me know what you think about the card. More later!
